About Kuari Pass Pangarchulla Trek

Kuari Pass a grandeur mesmerizing trek in Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, it goes through the famous places of the Himalayas. The first one being Joshimath, from where the Badrinath Yatra starts, followed by it is Auli, the famous tourist spot as well the trekking destination, from where one enjoys the grandeur view of Mount Nanda Devi, the Goddess and mother of the Uttarakhand, followed by Mt. Dronagiri, Kamet, Hathi Ghori. Pangarchulla adds the real flavor of adventure and mountain climbing, which is literally a stairway to heaven.  The Kuari pass offers a 360-degree view of Nilkanth, Mana, Kamet, Chaukhamba Massif, Parvati, Hathi Ghori Palki, Dronagiri, Nanda Devi and more of the famous peaks of Garhwal. The trail to Pangarchulla offers some lifetime experience of the mountain climbing where one experiences the real self potential and the views all around from the Pangarchulla summit will forever keep a special place for its 360 degree views of the famous peaks of the Garhwal, Nilkanth, Chaukhamba, Parvati, Mana, Satopanth, Kamet, Hathi Ghori Palki, Dronagiri, Nanda Devi, Nada Ghunti, Trishul
Through this trek, one gets to relish the adventure as well as the ancient Himalayan Culture, Mountain villages and stunning bugyals. The trail goes through old village life like, Dhak, Tapovan. Khullara, just like any alpine meadows, this enhances the beauty of the Kuari pass trek. It also completes the trek in all terms. It is a magnifying source of beauty that reflects everything around it with a filter of magnificence. The climax is the summit climb to Pangarchulla which is always snow-packed during the winter months.
Kuari pass trek is for those who wish to hike in short trails and want to begin trekking and hiking, but trek to Pangarchulla is difficult it's every step is worth it. It challenges us in every way through drastically changing terrains, from beautiful meadows to narrow ridges and then amazingly beautiful snow desert to ascend to the mountain pass, narrow paths, dangerous descend, long hours of walking. 

Pangarchulla is meant for all the trekkers who want to upgrade to some challenges in mountains, with some amazing grandeur beauty.

Reporting at HaridwarDrive to Joshimath. On arrival in Joshimath, briefing and registration to be completed by every trekkers and participants. Spend the evening time in Joshimath, visit Narsingh Devta mandir at a walking distance. Overnight stay at Homestay/Hotel.

After early morning breakfast drive to Dhak, then trek to Gulling Top, which is approximately 8KMs. The trail is mostly gradual ascent with beautiful view of Mount Dronagiri side by it and one could spot Dronagiri village at its opposite. Trail runs through deodar trees, wild roses, irises and chestnut Overnight stay at camp.

After morning breakfast,trek to Tali ,altitude 3,100m. of distance 8km, the trail is Moderate to gradual ascent and descent. One witnesses the amazing view of the high mountains and meadows and one starts to spot Pangarchulla. Overnight stay in camp.

After morning breakfast, trek to Kuari Pass, which is at an altitude of 3,900m. of distance 7 km. The trail is of moderate ascent. The beautiful pass is surrounded by wonderful grandeur view of the peaks of Garhwal. After crossing Kuari Pass, descent to Khullara(4kms). Overnight stay at Camp.

Today is most important day, where we need to get ready at 3:00 AM sharply and start our trek to Pangarchullaof Altitude 4,575m with distance of 14km, with steep moderate ascent. One could view famous peaks through out. Trekkers should carry enough water for the trail, since today there are very limited source of water. Lunch to be provided on trail, After summit back to Khullara. Overnight stay at camp. 

After early morning breakfast trek to Joshimath, (12kms) the trail is entirely downhill. Overnight stay at Homestay/Hotel.

Drive to Haridwar.

Booking Policy:

To book your trek, you need to pay 30% of the trek fees as advance. Rest 70% to be paid in cash when you reach the basecamp, to be collected by the team leader.

One can pay the amount online(Net Banking, GPay, UPI ID). 

Details to be shared on request.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 30 days before the trek date, full refund of the paid amount

  • 15 days before the trek date, 50% refund of the paid amount.

  • Cancellation less than 15days to the start date of the trek, no refund possible

  • In case Himalayan Passion cancels the trek or trip, full refund will be paid.

  • One has option to send another person on their behalf.

  • One has option to adjust the paid amount on any other trek, if a person cannot join the trek he/she paid for.
