Chintaphu is not just a trekking trail, but a trail of dreams, which comes true when you place your footsteps in the beautiful Villages of  Nepal. The initial trail through Nepal takes the traveler through the beautifully decorated Villages of Ilam district, beautiful Buddhist prayer flags, Monasteries, a nostalgic era of the trekkers. Unlike Sandakphu where one walks through the interconnected trails between India and Nepal, Chintaphu trails runs entirely thorugh the Nepal, then ends in India. The trails runs through the beautiful villages of Ilam district of Nepal like Maipokhri, Maimajuwa, Torkey falls, Goruwaleybhanjyang, and then to the Chintaphu top. The only trek in the Himalayas where the trekkers can get the amazing view of the four of the Highest Peaks of the World namely Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, and the amazing gigantic view of KhanchenDzonga (Kanchenjungha) leaves the traveler spellbound. This Trail runs through Nepal, and one can get an amazing experience of walking through the rural areas of Nepal. The travellers can get the clear view of gorges, meadows, grassland areas of Ilam, flat land of Terai, Ilam bazar, Panchtar, the hills spreading towards Taplejung and parched villages on the far away hills. This trail is least popular, and less crowded, is one of those special trails which can take a special place is everyone's heart, specially the amazing villages, and its smiling innocent peoples. The path runs through rhodoendron forests, meadows, villages and one could spot, deer, red panda. The amazing sunrise and sunset on every spots leaves the traveler spellbounded and amused. The fogs rises like a curtain and embraces the human soul, the clouds flow beneath the foot, and the Gigantic Sleeping Buddha blesses the travelers soul. One experiences amazing hospitality of the Nepalese people, in the homestays and cottages, with delicious mouth watering authentic Nepali Thali. Best Time to do Chintaphu trek is from Mid September December and January to April. Winter months like December, January and February might be very challenging for it's extreme chilling temperature, with snowfall, temperature during winter months drops to -5 to -7 degrees.
